Heidi Schuman-Moffa, M.Ed
I have a versatile background in clinical art therapy, school adjustment counseling, and mental health counseling. Employing trauma-informed, client-centered, and culturally conscious methodologies, I prioritize tailoring art activities to meet each individual’s unique needs. Customizing art interventions, intentionally selecting materials and processes, and fostering a creative and healing environment are points of pride in my practice. I meet people where they are, fostering collaboration that empowers them to actively engage and guide their own therapeutic experience.
l am a Master’s level therapist with with an M.Ed. in Art Therapy & Counseling from Springfield College. I am currently working towards obtaining Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Registered Art Therapist (ATR) licensure. I am also a licensed school adjustment counselor in the state of MA.
In my free time, I love creating art, especially painting and collaging. I also enjoy being outside and moving my body in nature. It is my personal goal to hike in every National Park in the US! Some of my favorite parks so far include Acadia NP, Voyageurs NP, Yosemite NP, and Zion NP.
